Covenant Christian Academy does not discriminate gender or national origin.
The admissions process includes an appointment with the principal, a pre-entrance testing and an application packet. Parents should bring copies of report cards, achievement test results, etc. We have a readiness testing for kindergarten and a placement confirmation testing for other grades. The principal will use the information to assess the student’s academic aptitude and to identify possible problems. There is an application and testing fee.
It is desired that both parents profess their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. However, at least one of the two parents must have a saving faith in Jesus Christ and attend a local church on a regular basis. (John 3:3,1; 1 Peter 1:23)
Registration
After testing and the initial appointment, applications are reviewed and parents are notified of the results within a few days. The registration process then proceeds upon acceptance. Covenant Christian Academy will request academic and health records from previous schools. We set up transportation arrangements for busing and initiate a permanent file for the student. There is a registration fee.
Parents of kindergarten children must provide a copy of the birth certificate and an up-to-date immunization record. A child must be five years old by October 1 to be eligible for kindergarten in September.
All students admitted to the school will be expected to perform at or above grade level, attend school regularly and submit to school policy and regulations.
Tuition and Fees
Parents will sign a financial commitment form at the time of acceptance. If monthly payments are chosen, Covenant Christian Academy uses a local bank, ESSA, for the direct debiting of payments. Parents may also pay in person at the bank. There is a separate book bill, and the books become the property of the family. As stated above, there is an application/testing fee and a registration fee.
Please feel free to call our office for current fee and tuition amounts.
